Trevor Michael Gapinski

Trevor M. Gapinski, 39, of Erie, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. He was born in Erie, PA on September 22, 1986, a son of Michael and Roseanne (Kobielski) Gapinski.

Trevor attended St. James Grade School and was a 2005 graduate of Harbor Creek High School. He went on to further his education at Penn State Behrend. Trevor had a deep love for music and was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, while also enjoying watching the Charlotte Hornets. In his free time, he found joy in trading card games and video games, as well as spending time outdoors hiking and riding his bike. An avid reader, Trevor had a curious mind and a quiet appreciation for learning. Trevor also cherished his animals, especially his cat, Libby, who brought him great companionship and happiness.

Trevor is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ella Mae and David Kobielski and Charlotte and John Gapinski; and his uncle, John D. Gapinski.

In addition to his parents, Trevor is survived by his brother, Brian Gapinski; aunts and uncles, Regina Gapinski (Larry Maxted), Elaine Gapinski, Dan Gapinski, Michael Kobielski, Esther Kobielski (Bill Finney), and Colleen Kobielski. Many cousins and friends also survive.

Friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 3 pm at Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., Erie, PA 16510 followed by visiting until 7 pm. Burial will be private at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Send condolences to www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
