Jack C. Eaglen

Jack C. Eaglen, age 82, of Harborcreek, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026. He was born in Erie on September 28, 1943, son of the late Boyd and Marie Eaglen.

Jack was a 1961 graduate of Harbor Creek High School. He was self-employed as the owner of Eaglen's Harborcreek Hardware for over 40 years. He was also employed at Lowe's on Peach Street for 25 years and worked primarily in the electrical and plumbing departments as he had extensive knowledge and skill in these areas. He was happy to have made many longtime friends at Lowe's over the years. Jack was an active member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church and an active participant in the mowing and maintenance of the church for over 40 years. He enjoyed playing tennis and golf and was gifted at doing landscaping.

Jack is survived by three sons, Michael Eaglen (Remy), Peter Eaglen (Heather) and Christoper Eaglen (Laura); ten grandchildren, Aimen, Aliyah, Addyson, Avarey, Cole, Maggie, Andrew, Alec, Crew and Brooks; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, MaryElla Eaglen; and two brothers, Boyd and Richard Eaglen.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday, March 19th, from 3 to 7 pm. Further visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, on Friday, March 20th, from noon until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy R.C.
