Phyllis Ann Fenstemaker

Phyllis A. Fenstemaker, 92, of Eagle, MI, passed away October 29, 2023. She was born June 27, 1931 In Kalamo, MI, daughter to the late Henry and Dorothy (Martens) Joppie. Phyllis was a graduate of Charlotte High School, worked as an Office Manager for Gordon Insurance for years, was a member of the Conservation Club. Phyllis had a deep love for animals. She was also a very active woman who loved to garden, travel, camp, snowmobile, and roller skate. Her deepest love, however, was for her family, as her spirit will live on through them all. She will be greatly missed.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 70 years, Emery Fenstemaker, siblings: Earl, Russ, Bob, and Maxine. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Cindy) Fenstemaker and Paul (Lynn)Fenstemaker, daughter Susan (John) Biergans; 6 grandchildren: Kelli (Kaveh), Kameron (Christine), Nathan (Lori), Eric (Shannon), Brandon (Brittany), Chad (Shaynah); 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 1:00 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, Grand Ledge, with visitation one hour prior to the service; interment to follow at the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Velte Road, Woodland Township, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Phyllis to the Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W Saginaw St, Lansing, MI 48915.
