Phyllis Jean Fisher, 85, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 2, 2025 in Commerce Georgia.
She was born in Johnstown, Pa on October 11, 1940 to Nicholas and Mary Bahoric. Phyllis married Bill Fisher on June 18,1960. They had four children: Dan (Cara) Fisher, John Paul (Deirdre) Fisher, Tom (Erin) Fisher, Patty (Sil) Colalancia. In 1970, Phyllis and Bill moved to Fulton, NY. Phyllis was employed by Oswego County Savings Bank and then Macy’s after retiring from the bank. Phyllis was an active communicant of Holy Family Church in Fulton, NY. Phyllis and Bill moved to Athens, GA to be closer to Patty and family. Phyllis was always happiest when family was around and she was cooking and baking for everyone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and recently a great grandmother.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Mary Bahoric, her sister Alice (Milan) Buchan and her brother John (Joan) Bahoric, and her husband Bill Fisher.
She is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren: Kelsey, Thomas, Annastasia (Dan and Cara Fisher), Christopher and Matthew (John and Deirdre Fisher), Owen, Grace, Tommy (Tom and Erin Fisher), Maria and Sil (Patty and Sil Colalancia), and great-grandsons Dean (Christopher and MK Fisher) and Jack (Matthew and Cassie Fisher).
A Catholic mass to celebrate Phyllis’s life will be held in Johnstown, Pa, her hometown at a later date.
