GIRARD - Phyllis A. Fuller, 86, passed away Monday afternoon, March 2, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital following a brief illness.
Phyllis was born May 18, 1939, at home in McKinley Heights, a daughter of the late Philip and Blanche Stock Bianco, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1957 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked at Packard Electric for 33 years before retiring in 1999.
Mrs. Fuller was a member of St. Rose Church and, in her younger years enjoyed bowling in several leagues at Kay Lanes.
Her husband and sons raced dirt-track stock cars for many years, and Phyllis never missed a race, often leaving work early on Fridays to be sure she was there to cheer them on. Her greatest joy, however, was her family, and she faithfully attended her grandson’s sporting events and other extracurricular activities.
Phyllis leaves to forever cherish her memory her two sons, Dale Alan Fuller, with whom she shared her home, and Robert W. (Renee) Fuller of Poland; a stepdaughter, Cheryl (Kent) West of Dayton; seven grandchildren, Anthony (Ashley) Fuller, Robert (Kori) Fuller, Melinda Burr, Justin Washington, Eric Washington, Kami Schooley and Matthew West; three great-grandchildren, Audra, Cameron and Cassandra Fuller; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Bianco; and many extended family members and friends.
Phyllis will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her son Dale, who was her caregiver for the last several years.
Her husband of 62 years, Francis Dale Fuller, whom she married June 18, 1960, died Nov. 28, 2022. Four brothers, Carl, Henry, David and Fred Bianco; and a stepdaughter, Rebecca Ebersole, also preceded Phyllis in death.
Private services were held for the family.
