Phyllis A. Gamble, 71 of Auburn, NY, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was born in Syracuse, NY on November 7, 1954 to the late William R. Knapp and Janice M. Cartner.
Phyllis loved writing in her journals, listening to Elvis Presley, crafting, baking cupcakes and making phylmark cards, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Scottie and Patrick; two brothers, Charles and Phillip.
She is survived by her children, Terri, Shawn (Heather), Sarah and Cricket; grandchildren, Jose (Heather), Ilana, Kaylee (Uziel), Tianna, Michael, Naylianna, Timothy, April, Phoenix, Madison, Michael, Shawn, Shawnna, Rayne, Tanner, Shawn Jr. and Taryn, Neisa, Dakota; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Greg, Dave and Robert; sister’s, Christine, Theresa, Vicki and Mandy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 1pm - 4pm. Funeral services will follow at 4pm.
