Phyllis Ann Gorman

Phyllis Ann Gorman, 80, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, February 1st, at Cadia Healthcare Center, Hagerstown.
Born June 13, 1941 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late Eavey H. and Grace A. (Covey) Nunamaker.
She was a member of The Good Shepherd Ministries.
Phyllis had been her local teamsters union president and had worked as a press operator for Arnolds and Relizon.
She was the Bingo Caller at Stoddards for many years, enjoyed league bowling, and was a past member of North Hagerstown Lions Club.
Phyllis had lived at Potomac Towers in Hagerstown for over 20 years prior to moving to Cadia Healthcare.
She is survived by daughters; Janet Jenkins and husband Maurice of Hagerstown, Diane Cable and husband Larry of Mission Vijeo, CA, Bobbie Nave of Hagerstown, Sharon Dick and Husband David of State Line, PA, Elizabeth (Peachy) O'Connor of Martinsburg, Vickey Cintron and husband Willie of Martinsburg, Nita Jones and husband Brad of Clear Spring, a son; Glenn Gorman Jr. and wife Sheri of Smithsburg, grandchildren; Jason Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins and wife Dana, Robert Goetz III and wife Shelley, Vanessa Booth and husband Lorenzo, Richard Nave III and wife Yvonne, Jamie Dick, Kristy Bryan and husband Leon, Michael Mann, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Phyllis was also preceded in death by her grandaughter Jennifer Haines Richards in 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at The Good Shepherd Ministries 19763 Longmeadow Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742 with Pastor Kenneth Brown and Pastor Robert Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery Hagerstown.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 6th, from 6-8 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Washington County, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown, MD 21742 and Alzheimer's Association 1850 York Road Suite D Timonium, MD 21093.
