Larry Lee Crawford

Hagerstown, MD – Larry Lee Crawford, 75, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Doey's House, Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on September 10, 1950, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Irvin Monroe Crawford, Sr. and Betty Jane (Kershner) Crawford.

He was predeceased by his wife, Deborah Susan (Lowry) Crawford on May 25, 2020.

Larry was employed at Grove Manufacturing for 38 years until his retirement. He was also employed at the IORM Tribe #84, Williamsport, MD.

He was a member of St. James Brethern Church in St. James, MD.

He was also a member of IORM Tribe #84 and Potomac Post #202 American Legion both of Williamsport. He was involved with the bus ministry with Broadfording Church for 12 years. He also volunteered at the nursing home where his wife was a resident.

He was a hardworking man throughout his entire life and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He truly enjoyed socializing and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his son, Larry Paul Crawford of Hagerstown, MD; sisters, Aletta J. Scott of Williamsport, MD and Bonnie L. Cunningham of Williamsport, MD; brothers, Irvin M. Crawford, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD, Ralph E. Crawford of Hagerstown, MD, David L. Crawford of Downsville, MD, Donald L. Crawford of Downsville, MD and Earl E. Crawford of Downsville, MD and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by infant daughter, Gloria Crawford; sisters Carolyn L. Plotner, and Gloria J. Crawford; and brothers Irvin L. Kershner and Timothy P. Crawford.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00am on Wednesday, for the convenience of family and friends. Burial will be private.
