Darlene was born on January 27, 1951 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Frances Mae (Waters) Houser.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Exline in 2010.
Darlene was employed by London Fog as a seamstress. She later went on to work for Good Humor Ice Cream. Darlene was most recently employed by Battleview Market in Sharpsburg, MD.
She was an avid bingo and scratch off player and enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Darlene is survived by her son Jeremy Exline of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Kathy Gay (Jerry) of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Peggy Ecton of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Gail Basford (Joe) of Keedysville, MD; brother George Houser, Jr. (Johanna) of Knoxville, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather George Houser, Sr.; brother Charles Allen; maternal grandparents Raymond Waters and Charlotte Allen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Burnside First Church of God 3904 Mills Rd. Sharpsburg, MD 21782 on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 2:00pm
Burial will be private.

Darlene so sorry to hear of your passing ,
Condolences to your family with many prayers lifted. It's been a pleasure knowing you , working at London Fog with a lot of good times. Rest high on the mountain friend , see you again. God Bless this family doing this difficult time.
