Deitra Alice Starliper

Deitra Alice Starliper (February 13, 1960 – March 18, 2026), age 66 passed away peacefully at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD surrounded by her family.

Deitra spent her life being a loving housewife and mother. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, cooking, and baking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and joked about loving to send them home just as much. Her other joys were playing games and internet scrolling for recipes as well as bantering with her husband.

Deitra is survived by her husband Robert Starliper, Jr.; her children Alisha Howard, Shannon McAllister and her wife Laurie, Matthew Howard and his wife Kasandra, Jereme Howard, Sarah Starliper, Andrew Starliper and his wife Sierra, Darnell Mason; her sisters Stacy Howard and Shawna Howard; her brother Patrick Howard and his wife Kathy. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, Alexander and Abigail Everitt, Robert Howard, Danielle Rosario, Donavyn, Madeleine, Ryleigh and Alaina Howard, Jereme and Faith Howard, Nathyn and Joleigh Lockley, Daryic Loudin, Melynie Lubonski, Ryland and Amiya Starliper; 2 great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.

Deitra is preceded in death by her parents Mark and Wilma Howard, her sister Sharon Howard and great grandson Jayce Henry.

Family and friends will be received at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A., 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, MD, on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Interment will be private.
