Phyllis Hamilton ( Good ) passed away on November 21, 2024. She was born on August 9, 1941, to the late Adrian & Agnes Cottrell (Good ) in Anderson Indiana.
Phyllis was best known for always having a smile on her face. She brought much love & joy to so many people The world is definitely a much dimmer place with her no longer in it.
"YOU ARE FOREVER MY SUNSHINE"
Phyllis was a majorette in high school, one of her proudest achievements was being able to go on point in ballet. She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1959. Phyllis lived in Portland Indiana for 35 years from 1976 - 2011. After which she moved back to Anderson in 2011
Aside from being a homemaker Phyllis worked for several years at First Merchants Bank in Winchester Indiana. Phyllis was a very talented seamstress & basket weaver. When not doing crafts around the home, she enjoyed running errands and driving in her little red jeep. She most certainly wasn't your ordinary grandmother. One of her most enjoyable things to do was help her daughter Michelle create costumes for Michelle and her horses to show and wear at her horse shows.
Survived by her sister, Sarah ( Tom ) Burton, daughter, Michelle Hamilton-Kitowski son-in-law Thomas Kitowski, granddaughter, Alisha (Omar ) Carlos, grandson, Lance Hibler; great Grandson William Carlos. She was preceded in death by, a son, David "Lance" Hamilton, a daughter, Teresa Diane Hamilton, a brother Bob Good, and a sister Adrienne Lippard (Good ). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm, with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm, all at Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53 St. Anderson, IN.
