Phyllis Jean Harre, 76, of Moberly, passed peacefully Thursday, December 4, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 16, 1949 in Mexico, MO to the union of the late Russell and Helen (Claywell) Carson.

Phyllis married Robert "Bob" Harre, August 20, 1976. They spent many happy years of love together taking rides through the country enjoying the fresh air and country views. Phyllis lived in Cairo for many years working at Toastmasters and Dura Automotive where she came to retire. She loved listening to and watching Elvis Presley movies, riding motorcycles every time she was invited, taking boat rides with family and just spending time with family.

Phyllis is survived by her children Candis and Rob Canaday of Moberly, Leonard and Lori Hatfield of Moberly, 3 stepchildren Marty and Petra of South Dakota, Bobby Harre of Macon, Annie and Greg Elwell of Kansas, 2 brothers Daniel Carson and Barbara Hyez and Larry Carson all of Mexico, MO. Her grandchildren will always be reminded of the wonderful memories made: Justin and Katie Canaday and Deavon Canaday; great grandchildren: Caden, Kylie, Gary, Lynden, Kasyn, Bennytt, Braxton, Winter, Jackson, Simon and Liza.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Russell "Rocky" Carson, Bill Carson, Jerry Carson and Helen Rench.

Her love will always go never unremembered by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews and best friend Nancy. She will always be remembered for her love and affectionate hugs and kisses, and spoiling her family.

Words of comfort and support were shared with the family at a visitation held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service honoring Mrs. Harre's life. Committal prayer and burial took place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Macon, MO.
