I knew Phyllis when she was secretary to Thure Lindstrom who was a director at the Oregon State Tax Commission. I was chosen to help her with special projects from time to time. I was just 18 and so impressed with her grace, beauty and office skills.
She wore a perfume called Shocking by Scapparelli and it became my favorite.
I just Googled her name this evening and was sad to read this obituary.
She was a sweet and caring woman who I´ll never forget.
