Mrs. Phyllis Johnson, 69, passed away quietly at her home in Stafford, VA on Monday, August 4, 2025.
Phyllis loved things that she could learn from: reading books, watching the news, and traveling. She also enjoyed listening to music. She was a very caring and sharing soul. Over the years, she helped so many with so much and never had any expectations for anything in return. She truly enjoyed her time with family, friends and life. She was a loving sister, dear aunt, caring cousin, and friend to many who will surely be missed by all.
She leaves behind her devoted husband Dr. Selwyn Adams; beloved daughter Dr. Cheria Lucas (Glenn), and one dear grandson Senior Airman Glenn Lucas, III.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, MD.
