Phyllis Rice Kliman

Phyllis Rice Kliman, age 91 of Seminole, Florida, formally of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, passed away, surrounded by her family, on September 27, 2024. She was born on April 1, 1933 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, Samuel and Lillian Rice, her husband Bernard Kliman MD, son David Samuel Kliman and her sister Myrna Rice Stein.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Joyce and husband Charles Rossi, her grandchildren:, Lisa Lang, Lynne Nardone, Marissa Rossi and Amanda Routten. She also leaves behind seven loving great-grandchildren; Brianna, James, Kevin, Justin, Kathryn, Reese and Delaney.
Phyllis graduated from Simmons College and was in the first class of women admitted to Harvard University Business School. A longtime patron of The Boston Symphony Orchestra and The Museum of Fine Arts, and lifetime volunteer for The Catholic Guild For the Blind, Head Start, Planned Parenthood and the Sisterhood of Temple Ohabei Shalom in Brookline, Massachusetts.
Phyllis loved music, movies, theater and spent her summers on Cape Cod. Phyllis was actively involved in her family activities. Her devotion to family and generous spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be Sunday, November 3,2024, 10:45 at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
