Phyllis Lark Obituary
She was born on April 2, 1945 to Alvin and Bessie (Scudder) Davis in Knox County, Illinois. She married Glenn Johnson in 1964 in Yates City, Illinois, he precedes her in death. She married Larry Vernon Lark on December 12, 1987, in Yates City, Illinois, he also precedes her in death.
Surviving Phyllis are her daughters, Diane Johnson of Galesburg, Illinois, and Sheryl (Bret) Weaver of Canton, Illinois; two grandchildren, Corey (Brittany) LaFollett and Cyle LaFollett; two great-grandchildren, Tayton, Charlotte; her sister-in-law, Jackie Davis, and her brother-in-law, Richard Niebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and six siblings.
Phyllis graduated from Valley High School in 1963. She went on to waitress at a local diner and later became the office clerk for the Yates City area. She was a member of the Douglas United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Yates City, Illinois.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 23 at the Salem Township Cemetery in Yates City, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maquon Church. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Phyllis, please visit our floral store.
