Private, family only, graveside services for Phyllis June Montgomery will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wetumka Cemetery. Viewing, for public, will be held Monday, 2:00 - 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma.
Phyllis June Montgomery was born November 22, 1948 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to George and Mildred (Burkes) Smith. She passed away, Saturday, December 28, 2024 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
Mrs. Montgomery was a lifelong resident of the Wetumka area and a 1967 graduate of Wetumka High School. She and Jerry Montgomery were married January 16, 1970 in Wetumka, Oklahoma; he later preceded her in death in 2016. Mrs. Montgomery loved watching sports, especially football. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, eating sweets and drinking coffee. She especially loved her dog "Kiki" and her cat "Moe". She will be dearly missed.
Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Kim Viviers and husband Riaan of Killdear, North Dakota, Dana Dimson of Forney, Texas and Brooke Reyna and husband Albert of Wetumka; two brothers, David Smith of Wetumka and Ronald Smith and wife Rolanda of Shawnee; 11 grandchildren, Alex Akins, Mya Hernandez, Natalie Akins, Isabella Dimson, Cainan Dimson, Maxwell Dimson, Georgiana Reyna, Ava Rayna, Elias Reyna and Jett Reyna and three great-grandchildren, Sophia Martinez, Nora Hernandez and Aurora Anderson.
Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma.
