Phyllis Shipper Obituary
Phyllis Helene Shipper
Phyllis Helene (May) Shipper of Montgomery Village passed away peacefully on March 8th with her family by her side. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County and graduate of Wheaton High School, Phyllis was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She spent her career working in medical offices throughout the region. Phyllis was a diehard baseball fan. From spring training to the World Series, she cheered on the Nationals from first pitch to the last out. Phyllis loved to bake and always brought her sweetness to every occasion.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Barry Shipper; her devoted sister Ileen Albeck and brother Steven May, and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 12, at 2 p.m., at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, Maryland. Immediately following, Shiva will be held at Ileen's home at 17832 Hazelcrest Drive, Gaithersburg, MD. 301-869-7641
