Born: July 25, 1938 | Died: August 5, 2025
Phyllis Winters LaFollette-Simcox, age 87 of Alcoa, Tn, passed away August 5, 2025, at UT Hospital in Knoxville. She was a member of Alcoa First Baptist, where she was the Daycare Director. She attended Rockford Baptist Church in later years. She was preceded in death by husbands, James "Bob" Robert LaFollette and Charles Eugene Simcox; grandchild, Brooke Lauren LaFollette; parents, Floyd and Alma Winters; sister, Francis Wiggins.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Hundley (Todd); sons, Robert Clay LaFollette (Kim), J. Clint LaFollette (Melissa), Joe LaFollette (Melanie); step-sons, Harold Simcox (Janice), Neal Simcox (Rosemary); grandchildren, Rebecca Stafford (Zach), Julia Hundley, Anna Grace LaFollette, Erica LaFollette (Sam Covington), Olivia Lauren LaFollette; great-grandchildren; Ivy, Maizy, Laurel, Gwendolyn; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia McDaniels (Mack); nephews, Mike Wiggins, Randy McDaniels, John Wiggins; nieces, Mary Love, Kim Frank.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jason Brown officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge, TN.
