Phyllis Thiessens Obituary
Phyllis Jenson Thiessens, daughter of Vontess and Keogh Jensen of Redmond, Utah. Our lovely mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 8th, 2015.
Following husband Hank, and son Dennis, she leaves behind her loving family and many friends who will cherish her memory.
Please join us for a short service at St. Mark's Cathedral, where her ashes will be laid to rest February 20th at 11:00 a.m., 231 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Family and close friends are welcome to gather and reminisce at Phyllis' home following, 2246 East 2700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Salt Lake Mission, which she generously supported.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Phyllis was a people person. Through her many years of waitressing and hosting, she made many friends. Her outgoing personality gave hope and comfort to many.

I heard just today from my sister, Gloria, in Wisconsin. It was just over a year ago that we lost our mother. I send my deepest sympathy to all of my cousins, and my prayers are with all of you at this time. Diane and I are sorry for your loss, but we know that Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Hank are with family and friends on the other side of the veil and are, no doubt, having a wonderful reunion.

Scott, Ricky,Linda, Cathy Charles and Lucky.....Just heard by the grapevine that Aunt Phyllis passed last Sunday.. Out here on the farm it still takes a little longer to get word. I want you to know what very fond memories come to mind of Your Mom and Dad and all seven of you cousins. We may not have had many connections since childhood but those memories are sweet in-deed. Aunt Phyllis was always hard at work and I remember sever times we would visit her at the cafe as a waitress and or receptionist. Always on the go. I also smile at how cousins like we are could be so different in height. Me being a shrimp and you guys always up in the clean breathing air streams. Remember well our last get together over 20 years ago here on the farm to see how time had served each of us. May God be with you all tomorrow as you say your final good bye's to your Mom. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers

Scott, Marilyn and entire Thiessens Family.
So sorry for your loss Scott. We know it has to be hard to say good bye to your Mom.
We didn't know her well, but we sure knew of her. We know she worked way beyond her retirement years. We remember seeing her Pretty yard and flowers. We send you our deepest condolences. Wish we cold be there and share some of her memories with you.

Scott and Marilyn,
So sorry for the loss of your Mom. We didn't know her well, but we knew of her. She had so much strength and willpower. She worked way beyond her retirement age
