Phyllis Vaughan-Clark Obituary

Phyllis drove trucks for over twenty years before ending her driving career to stay home and care for her father. She enjoyed the peace and easy times fishing, she also enjoyed showing up for all her grandson's school and sporting events.
Her memory will live in the hearts of her husband, Tony Clark of the home; daughter, Jessica Jones and grandson, Jacob Byrum both of Roanoke Rapids; stepson, Anthony Clark of Charlotte; her mother, Judy Vaughan; sister, Cindy Hall of Ahoskie; and faithful canine companion, "Smoke"; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, along with many many friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Good News Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy King officiating.
Interment will follow in Jackson Cemetery.

The first time I seen Phyllis was at the Purdue plant in Emporia Virginia she was dropping off a trailer and I was picking one up. She had told me that if I was looking for an empty trailer to get the one she had just dropped off because it was clean and full of fuel. I thanked her and offhandedly told her she had some pretty big calves and she said well so do you driver and it wasnt long after that I miss her so
