Dear Jennifer and family. We are very sad to hear about the loss of beloved Pierce. The last we saw you all was such a long time ago when he was only a few years old. I remember him as an energetic, tall and good-looking boy. I think we were all on a trip together with grandparents. It is a fond memory that we look back on of our time together. All throughout the year, we have been thinking about Pierce and hoping for his recovery. We know how difficult this must be for all of you and we hope that the nice memories of good times you had could help you, in time, to come to terms with such a loss. We sense Pierce brought such a lot of joy and love to others around him. We are proud of him and of you for being so brave. We share in your sorrow and send you love.

The nurses on FGround remember Pierce very fondly and truly cherish the time we spent with him. His maturity and positive attitude in the most difficult of times was inspiring and serves as a guiding light for us as we continue to fight this disease in his memory. Love & light to all who loved Pierce.

So very sorry for your loss. I heard many wonderful things about Pierce from Brooke Bulmore Thompson. I was lucky to meet Jen when she visited Portland, so if Pierce is anything like his Mom or Dad, he was happy and full of life. My deepest condolences to all of you, sending prayers of peace and comfort in the hard days ahead!! Warmest Aloha, Debbie Wilkins. (Brooke and Barrie's friend)
