Mr. Pierre F. Gerber, age 72, of Ferrysburg, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at North Ottawa Community Hospital. He was born April 18, 1951, in Grand Haven to Harold and Madeleine (Nicolay) Gerber.
Pierre served his country in the 101st Airborne Division. He loved being outdoors going on walks and kayaking our local waters. In 2015 he retired from Noble Company after many years of working there. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by five siblings: Boris (Edith) Gerber, Wanda Gerber, Vincent (Karen) Gerber, Wesley (Cherryl) Gerber, Maxine (William) Gerber-Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family burial will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Pierre may be given to Ottawa County Parks.
