Pierre Tilus, 85, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on August 16, 2022.
Born June 29, 1937 in Gressier, Haiti, to Dale Fils Tilus and Julie St. Fleur, he moved here 42 years ago. He worked as a carpenter in Haiti before moving to Florida, and was a laundry worker at Holiday Inn for thirty years and the last ten years at Winter Haven Hospital in laundry. He was of the Prostestant Faith, and enjoyed watching old westerns, wrestling and game shows.
He is survived by: his wife, Marie Rose Lina Severin; his loving companion of thirty two years, Helen Alexander; his sons and daughters, Paul Tilus, Carline Tlus, Monode Tilus, Sara Tilus, David Tilus, Darlyne Tilus, Miguel Tilus, Sara G, Tilus, Dassi Tilus, Marie M. Tilus, Marc-Elie Tilus, Della atilus, Marcellus Tilus, Marie Jeanne Tilus, Gedenise Tilus, Jean Robert Sanon Tilus, Esperancia Tilus, Junie Tilus, Julie Tilus, Willy Tilus and Linda Tilus; grandchildren, Pierre Richard Tilus, David Tilus, Jennifer Tilus, Elijah Tilus, Matthew Tilus, Marc Tilus, Deelie Tilus, Jeremiah Tilus, James Tilus, Williams Tilus, Marco Tilus, Marla Tilus, Jenyah Tilus, Sanyah Tilus, Tanisha Tilus, Dassy Tilus, Marcus Tilus, Marsha Tilus, Makhena Tilus, Dondiana Sanon, Jean Sanon, Miguel Tilus, Dawill Tilus, Rose Lina Tilus, Joshua Tilus, Jayden Tilus and Christopher Tilus; a brother, Dieu Fil Tilus; and several other family members, Remy Tilus, Illia Tilus Ryan Tilus, Nehema Tilus, Keithline Tilus, Fedner Tilus, Daniel Damou Tilus, Eli Tilus, Beatrice Lejerme, Wislaine Vielot and other family.
Teh family will recieve friends from 5:00pm till 9:00pm, Friday, August, 26, 2022 ay Oak Riddge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
