Pietro D'Uva, 67, of Lawrenceville, entered into God's eternal rest on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Castelpetroso, Italy, he immigrated to the United States in 1980. Pietro is a retiree of The Institute for Advance Study in Princeton, where he worked for over 30 years. He enjoyed tending to his beloved vegetable and flower gardens, watching Italian TV, being outdoors, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Son of the late Angelo and Anna (Forte) D'Uva; he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Luciana D'Uva; his children, Angelo D'Uva, Rosanna Battaglia (Anthony), his two grandsons Giovanni and Julian Battaglia; he is also survived by his siblings, Giulio D'Uva, Filomena Arcaro (Fernando), Giuseppina Cifelli (Quartino), sisters-in-law, Enrica Dewey (Preston), Silvana Wink (Ken), Anna Lubrano, Patricia Custis (Jose); brothers-in-law, Guido Lubrano (Mondaye), Roberto Lubrano (Jovy); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Entombment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday morning from 8:30AM to 10:00 AM at the church

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
