Pilar Prieto Obituary

Pilar traveled from Mexico to the United States in 1961. She spent many years in the Little Village neighborhood, most recently the Clearing/Garfield Ridge area. She enjoyed listening to the Oldie's 60"s music. One of her hobbies was knitting, the other gardening. Pilar enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She had many jobs over her lifetime, including a beautician, all for the betterment of her family.
Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, 8:45 a.m. chapel prayers to 10 a.m. Mass at St. Blase Church in Summit, Illinois. Cremation following in accordance with her wishes.
