Our beloved Pinaki Roy Chowdhury, 52, of Mason, Ohio left for the heavenly abode on February 6, 2025. Pinaki will be fondly remembered by his jovial, friendly, and musical nature. He is survived by his wife, Ritu Roy Chowdhury, and his only daughter, Ishani Roy Chowdhury.
Born in Kolkata and raised in Pune, he grew up as the only child of Ratna and PiyushKanti Roy Chowdhury. He spent his childhood enjoying sports such as martial arts and cricket, learning several languages, and embracing his artistic side. Soon thereafter, he shifted to Pune, India to pursue his education. There he met his life partner, Ritu Roy Chowdhury and the two wed and had their only daughter a few years later.
Pinaki’s presence lit up a room — his vibrant and amiable nature helped people feel at ease immediately, whether they were a friend or a stranger. He was loving, headstrong, and always spoke to people with warmth and care. His exuberance and ability to find humor in the little things kept those around him jolly and enthusiastic.
As a father, husband, and friend, he provided everlasting guidance and inspiration stemming from his own extraordinary experiences both professionally and personally. Pinaki was kindhearted and passionate about serving underprivileged communities by donating food and resources to homeless shelters and by teaching classes to the local underprivileged youth.
Pinaki leaves a remarkable legacy behind, and his love and humor will stay in the hearts of everyone who he touched with his lively spirit.
Pinaki’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 1 PM at Mueller Hicks Funeral Home 6780 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, OH 45005.
