Piper Dale Addington: A Heartfelt Tribute
Eternal Qualities:
Piper Dale Addington, our precious daughter from
Monroe, North Carolina, was taken from this world far too soon. On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the tender age of 3, she left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Her Story:
From the very first moment Piper graced the world on April 26, 2021, she was a radiant burst of energy. As a baby, she nestled peacefully only in slumber. The instant she found her balance, she leaped into the air, and the moment she learned to walk, she was off running and dancing with glee. Piper's exuberant spirit and love for life were truly contagious and should be contributed to her mother's simplistic, yet profound affirmations that became their daily ritual. This cherished mantra, recited each day, forged a unique bond between them, encapsulating their shared strength and love. The powerful words, "I am smart. I am beautiful. I am loved," resonated as a testament to their enduring connection and Piper's vibrant spirit.
A Life Full of Love and Laughter:
Piper's bright personality shone through in everything she did. She loved playing with her dolls, drawing, eating strawberries, swimming, going on trips to the park, and simply adored her ever-grooming cat, KitKat. Her curiosity and joy were evident in her favorite activities, from dressing up like a princess to watching Minnie Mouse and playing hide and seek with her beloved brothers, Blake and Wyatt. Wyatt, who watched over her from a very young age, shared an inseparable bond with Piper.
Piper was known for her inquisitive intellect, humor, sassiness, as well as her kind and gentle nature. An excellent student at First Assembly of God, she enjoyed outings to the parks and had a deep love for music, especially anything her daddy put on from Morgan Wallen. She sang like a little angel, often using her cute songs to soothe others. Piper's tender heart captured her father's affection through nightly lullabies of her favorite songs "Moo Cow" and "Rock a Bye Baby".
A Beloved Family Member:
Being both momma's little angel and daddy's little princess, Piper was cherished by her entire family, consisting of her father, Robert Alexander Addington, and her mother, Amber Dale Wolfe. Her loving spirit touched the lives of her brothers Blake Wolfe and Wyatt Addington, her uncles Scotty and Christopher Addington and Mack Mercer, her aunts Brittney Addington, Hope Wilson, Lily and Randi Rushing, her grandparents Scott and Lilinoe (PawPaw & MawMaw) Addington, Brandan and Jean (Popkey and Maw Maw) Michaelis, Randy and Carmen (Papa and Maw Maw) Rushing, and Joyce (Mi-Maw) Wolfe, and her great-grandmother Caroline (Grandma) Rowzee. Her extended family includes great uncles Charlie and Sam Rowzee, Billy Buckner, and Charlie Snead, great aunts Amanda and Necce Rowzee, Frances Buckner, Shannon Helms, and Shana Riordan, as well as cousins Terry, Bailey, and Hannah Rowzee, Haden and Laken Moore, Payton Buckner, Greysyn and Braylee Addington, Bently and Deagan Riordan, who also absolutely adored her. Piper was predeceased by her grandfather Scott Wolfe, great-grandaunt Dot Davis and great-grandfather Sanford Wolfe.
A Celebration of Life:
To honor Piper's bright and beautiful life, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Belk-Tonawanda Park, 217 I B Shive Dr,
Monroe, NC 28110. Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering the joy she brought to our lives.
In lieu of flowers and in affection for Piper, please consider donating to your local children's hospital, as they provide vital support and care. You could also choose to plant anything with a beautiful pink bloom as that was Piper's favorite color.
Final Memories:
Even though Piper's time on earth was tragically short, her impact on those around her will never be forgotten. She brought immense joy and love to everyone who knew her. May Piper's memory be a blessing, and may she find eternal peace in Jesus' Loving Embrace.
Piper Dale Addington, our precious little angel, enriched our lives with her presence and will forever remain in our hearts.
