Policarpo Gonzalez-Flores Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 8, 2018.
Poli Gonzalez, 40, passed away May 5, 2018. He was born November 27, 1977 in Guerrero, Mexico to Marcelina Flores. Poli graduated from North Dallas High School in 1998. After high school, he went to work for N&H/Simons Plumbing and worked for them for 20 years. Poli loved playing soccer, working on cars of any type, making sure they were kept in prestige condition and installing stereos. He was also known for telling stories, singing bad karaoke, joking around for his own entertainment but most of all he will be remembered for giving "tough love" even though everyone knew he was really just a big teddy bear and his advice even if you did not want to hear it. Poli is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Gonzalez; daughter, Alanna Bouvier; mother, Marcelina Flores; sisters, Rayna, Chayo, Soco and Maria and husband, Guero and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, James Gonzalez; grandparents and his father figure and mentor, Leon Simons. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 2:00pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. The family has requested that you dress comfortably and please refrain from wearing black; they want Poli's life to be celebrated just as he lived his life.
