Oma Ann Elizabeth (Polly) Morgan
May 27, 1938 - November 2, 2025.
Our loving beautiful gifted Mother Polly Morgan passed away peacefully at Llano Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in
Llano, Texas on November 2, 2025.
Polly was a loving kind selfless Mother, Grandmother and friend, and served the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ and lived for Him.
She was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost. Polly was gifted by God, being a child prodigy playing the piano at 7 years old by ear.
She played the piano in the Llano Pentecostal Church that her parents, Phillip and Odell Graham pastored. She entered a talent show at Llano High School at 15 years old, and won 1st place. Johnny Horton heard her and invited her to travel with him and his band to the Louisiana Hayride but ended up not going. Polly met and married the love of her life Bobby Morgan at 16 years old.
They had 4 children Lisa Wisdom, Diane Valentine, Randy Morgan, and the late Christina Aust. Her meringue pies and cooking were the best in the world. Her Grandchildren are Lana, April, Holly, Delaina, Daniel, Dara, Bobby, Blake, and Jeremy. Her Great Grandchildren are Morgan, Julia, Wyatt, Lyric, Axel, Madison, Johnson, Anna Grace, Micah, Victoria, Daniel, Ezra, and Esther. Polly was blessed with two sisters, Vonnie Overstreet, and late husband, Jerrel Overstreet, and Wanda Bryant and husband Don.
Polly was a legend in Llano for sharing her amazing and unforgettable talent for playing the piano. She was a blessing to play for many churches, weddings, funerals and family gatherings. Christina Aust, her youngest daughter, preceded her in death.
Our beautiful loving Momma will be a cherished memory in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.
She will be fondly remembered for her meek and quiet spirit, her selflessness and humility, her kind soft words, her encouragement, her lovely piano hands that played so gracefully, her angelic singing voice, her striking aqua eyes, her porcelain skin, and the love she had for Jesus and her children.
Our sincere thanks to all the kind employees at Llano Nursing and Rehabilitation and Solaris Hospice for being so loving and supportive to our Mother and our family.
Funeral service for Polly Morgan will be Friday November 14, 2025 at Llano United Pentecostal Church at 10am, with Rev. George W. Sievers, III officiating.
