Janice Ann Morgan

Janice Ann Morgan, 68, of Barberton, went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2025. Jan was born on December 28, 1956 in Barberton. She was the daughter and eldest child of the late David and Carole Morgan. She graduated from Norton High School in 1975 before attending Akron School of Practical Nursing. Her career included nursing positions at Akron General Medical Center and Aultman Hospital.

In her free time, Jan enjoyed simple pleasures like crocheting, knitting and spending time with her beloved dogs. She was close with her three siblings and enjoyed being Aunt Jan to a host of nieces and nephews.

Jan will be dearly missed by her siblings, Jim (Tammie) Morgan, John (Carrie) Morgan, and Jennifer Morgan; nieces and nephews, Caleb, Kylie, Jack, and Allison. Jan also leaves many friends including lifelong friends, Mollie Adams and Ryan Adams.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 6-7 p.m. immediately followed by a 7:00 pm memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
