Dr. Pratapray Kalaria, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, dear friend & trusted doctor to many, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 85.
A highly-regarded pillar of his community and a successful surgeon who brought healing to countless many, Pratap Bhai (as he was known to his family and friends) dedicated his life to improving the lives of those that had the privilege of knowing him.
He led a truly remarkable life founded on the pillars of unwavering integrity, boundless generosity and steadfast courage. With his unique blend of warmth, humor and charm, Pratap Bhai was the patriarch as well as the bedrock of his whole family and vast circle of friends always guiding with wisdom, love & unshakable support.
Throughout his life and always together with the ever present support of his loving wife, Jayshree, he truly empowered his immediate and extended families to achieve better lives by supporting them mentally, spiritually and financially and thereby advancing them towards realizing their own unique hopes & dreams.
Beyond his professional acumen, Pratap Bhai was also a man of many talents that included enjoying singing and performing on the harmonium and tabla, debating and joking with his children and friends, and fawning over his grandchildren and grandnieces & nephews with his very own blend of wit, playfulness and laughter.
Through his legacy of service and selflessness, his influence will continue to ripple outward for generations to come. Pratap Bhai will be missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace - Om Shanti.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jayshree Kalaria; his son, Mr. Niral Kalaria and his wife, Mrs. Deepali Kalaria; his son-in-law, Dr. Rakesh Patel; and his grandchildren, Ms. Ceanna Kalaria, Mr. Aman Patel & Ms. Avanni Kalaria; and preceded by his beloved daughter, the late Mrs. Shrimati Sonal Patel.
Celebration of Life Luncheon will follow upon end of service at approximately 12:00 pm at:
