Prentiss Yates, born November 20, 1940, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024. He was 83 years old.
A man of faith, Prentiss was a devoted member of Fairway Christian Church in The Villages, Florida, for 25 years.

Prentiss had many interests. He was a real estate investor and mentor, an avid golfer, a world traveler, and a classic car enthusiast. He loved to play euchre and eat Skyline chili with his friends and family. Prentiss loved his family and showed it through homemade gifts, affectionate nicknames, and funny stories.
Prentiss loved Myra, his wife of 38 years. He is also survived by his six daughters: Betsy Franklin, Lisa Sweasy, Dottie Schwartz, Sandy Donlin, Shelley Donlin, and Bonnie Wynn. He will also be missed by his four sons-in-law, his ten grandchildren, and his thirteen great grandchildren.
Memorial services in Kentucky and Florida are pending.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to Calvary Christian School at 5955 Taylor Mill Rd Covington, KY 41015 or online at https://www.ccsky.org/give-to-ccs
