Amy Marie Sipple, 50, of Covington, KY passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024. She was a certified nursing assistant and a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Florence, KY. Amy was a 1992 graduate of Calvary Christian School and received her nursing assistant certification at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. After college, she worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cincinnati Children's Medical Hospital and then worked in Oldenburg, Indiana at the Sisters of St. Francis. Amy later worked at the Christ Hospital Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, St. Elizabeth Healthcare Intensive Care Unit in Edgewood, KY and went on to work in Home Healthcare. She cared deeply for others and dedicated herself to their comfort and well-being. Amy had an infectious laugh that would light up a room, whether at home, around friends, or around her patients. She was always willing to give or receive a big, endearing hug to anyone who needed it. She also loved to sing, dance, and be silly with her family and friends. Some of her favorite times were spent with her niece and nephews. She loved wholly and completely, and accepted people exactly as they were. Amys favorite pastimes included making jewelry, cards, and crafting. It brought her so much joy to create something beautiful and share it with others. She also had a special love for animals and would take in strays if she felt they needed to be cared for. Amy was a big presence in this world and will be sorely missed.
Amy is survived by her parents: Mike and Susan Marie Sipple; siblings: Tracy Lynn Sipple and her son: Finlee Adair Sipple-Otto; Michael Adair and sister-in-love Amber Marie Sipple and their children: Jacob Michael, Abigail June and Ethan Adair and dear sister-friend: Lynova Duncan. Amy also had a very special bond with all of her aunts, uncles and cousins and she viewed all of her friends as family. Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Grace Fellowship Church, Florence Campus, 9379 Gunpowder Road, Florence, KY 41042 from 9:30 AM until the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amy Sipple Giving Fund at Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky at https://horizonfunds.org/fund/amy-sipple-giving-fund/ Checks may be mailed to: Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky, 50 E. RiverCenter Blvd., Suite 431 Covington, KY 41011. (Please note Amy Sipple Giving Fund on the check remitter). Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed on Facebook or at www.connleybrothersfuneralhome.com
Right before Amy's passing, she was reading the following:
"You know God loves you extravagantly.
God didn't just send you a postcard with a note saying how much he loves you. He cared enough to send the very best-himself! When Jesus was dying on the cross with his arms outstretched, he was saying: I love you this much.
Fear and love cannot exist in the same place. The Bible tells us, There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18 NIV). When you invite Christ into the front door of your heart, fear goes out the back door."
