Preston Darnell Keith Davis was born on March 14,1990 to Wilfred Handy and Ida Williams in Lafayette, La. He was called to glory on December 6, 2025, at Lafayette General Hospital. He was 35 years old. He went to Northside High School. Preston's love for sports led him to play basketball, baseball, and football. He was better known as P-Diddy, Baby Boy, and Lil' Preston. His infectious personality made him the life of the party and all-around jokester. One his last jokes was with Pastor Marlice, saying, "I love two times." Then, he said, "No I love three times." All the room could was laugh. Preston accepted the Lord at an early age at Hope of Glory Lighthouse Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Sallie Breaux. His favorite show was Beyond the Gates and his favorite song was "Trouble Don't Last Always".
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ida Williams (Robert Williams); his father, Wilfred Handy (Renella Handy); three sisters-Ashley Anderson, Kammy McZeal, and Latreasha Davis; four brothers-Travis Davis, Wilfred Davis, Shannon Handy, and Traylon Handy; and his grandfather, Vincent Lee Handy. He leaves a legacy of eleven beautiful children; four daughters-Nyiah, Mya, Gianna, and Khaza; seven sons-Preston Jr., Jordan, Antonio, Jayden, Jameer, Ja'veon, and Karson.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents-Willie and Wonda Davis; paternal grandparents-Faye Handy and Charlie Brown; six uncles-Chester Senegal, Danny Davis, Roland Senegal, James Davis, Preston Handy, and Colby Handy; and one sister-Deondra Latreas Davis-Young.
