Preston John Fowler

Preston John Fowler, 45, of Trumansburg, New York, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2025, after a battle with cancer that he fought on his own terms to the very end.

He was born October 28, 1979 in Tucson, Arizona. At a very young age, Preston realized farming was his passion and spent his entire life doing just that. Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him quickly found that he had a big heart. He would go above and beyond to help those in need. He loved being outside where he could often be found working in the hay fields, tooling around the woods in his Ranger, making maple syrup with his friend Brandon, polishing rocks, catching crawfish, checking trail cams, or working on his cabin, fondly known as The Hobbit Hut.

Preston is survived by his parents, Garry and Terry Fowler; son Dustin John Fowler (his pride and joy); brother Shawn Fowler (Kristin Stankiewicz); nephews Clyde and Liam Fowler; and his girlfriend Kati Dresser. Additionally, he was predeceased by his sister, Lisa Colleen.

In keeping with his wishes, a gathering for family will be held privately.
