Graveside services for Preston "Mac" Edward McCarvill will be at 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 21, 2024 at the NELA Veterans Cemetery, 2413 Highway 425, Rayville, LA. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:30 in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, La.
Preston was a member of the United States Marine Corps, a book reader, history buff, animal lover, loved scenic driving, making new friends, and keeping up with old ones. For Preston, his family and friends were his life. He cherished his time spent with them whether it was through visits or phone calls.
Preston was preceded in death by his father, Richard McCarvill and his mother, Patricia Duggan.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Tresa McCarvill; daughter, Sarah Miclat and husband Joshua; step-children, Melissa Fletcher and husband Steven, Sonya Liserio, Raymond Liserio and wife, Stacy; siblings, Dona Arrant and husband, Harold Glenn; grandchildren, Esther and Aiden Miclat, Ethan and Colby Fletcher, Kaden, Alyssa, Tresa and Raymond, Jr. Liserio; nephews, Corey and Seth Arrant; great nephew, Wyatt Arrant; special family, Donna Kay, Karen Sue and the Barfoot Clan.

Brandon Mall in Fl, we meet him when he was working on the extension of the mall, and became friends, every time I go there, is a reminder of our friendship and he also made people laugh and he will be missed by many. RIP our friend. Melissa and Brian Bennett
