Prima Graham

Prima Graham, age 46, of Boaz, passed away on December 26, 2025. She is survived by her children, Damien Graham, Regan Gilbert, and Aloria Graham, and by her extended family, including Chase Graham and his partner, Nicole Young. Together, they shared a cooperative and supportive co parenting arrangement and raised their children as a blended family. In their home, she was known as "Mama Prima," a role she embraced with fierce devotion toward all three children.

Prima is also survived by her mother, Edna Minnick; her siblings Ozzy Smith, Stevie Smith, Jerry Gaines, Matt and Madilyn Smith, Wennifer and Charlie Williams, and Robert Brown; and a large extended family including Ashley and Brad Young, Dusty Smith, Anthony Chance, Delandra J. and Connie Burgess, Chris and Leeann Ferell, Randy Ray, Joseph Howell, Brittany Renee Vaughn, Tenaya Roberts, Charles Peregoy, Nicole Crawford, Tammy Roden, Laney Smith, Amber and Tyler Weber, Leeinda Moore Bachelor, Lilith Isley, and Ladarla Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Rushing, and her brother, Ray Smith.

She will be remembered for her fierce love for her kids, her sharp wit, her unapologetic honesty, and the deep connections she forged-and sometimes challenged-throughout her life.
