Princess Isabella Magba-Kamara, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Stillwater, Minnesota, on February 6, 2025. She was born on October 21, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, to Jane Kamara and Abdul-Rahman Seuti Magba- Kamara.
In the summer of 1989, her family moved to Devils Lake, ND where Princess made many lifelong friends. In 2003, the family moved to Fargo, ND where Princess again made many more lifelong friends. Professionally, she worked for the Sandford Hospital in the food services department for 14 years, eventually becoming a supervisor. She was recognized in her role, many times for her happy, smiling attitude and uplifting demeanor that often-brought smiles to the patients she served. In 2018, Princess moved to the Twin Cities area to be closer to her brothers and mother. Once established in Stillwater, she again brought happiness to the residents she served food to, this time, at the nursing home her mother resided at, the Estates at Linden in Stillwater, MN.
Princess lived her life with a passion for connecting with people and providing aid and comfort to those she met who needed it. She didn't judge others and as such, she made friends with people from all walks of life. Known for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and eccentricity, she touched many lives through her genuine desire to connect, know, and help everyone she met. She always placed the needs of others before her own. Often opening her home to those in need.
The one thing everyone knew about Princess was that she was proud of her family, and they meant everything to her. She was both a daddy's girl and a momma's girl. She would often remark that her youngest brother had a thousand-watt smile, her middle brother was one of the smartest people alive, that her older brother was a hero in her eyes that could accomplish anything, and that her sister-in-law was one of the most beautiful women in the world. For Princess, she loved others unconditionally.
Princess loved to read, listen to music, garden, write poetry, and she had a passion for cooking and baking for others. She loved Jesus and had recently found an amazing church community filled with new friends whom she loved, at the Bethany Covenant Church in Stillwater, MN.
She leaves behind her brothers Abdul-Rahman, Abdul-Aziz, Abdul-Latif, Seuti, Shek, sister-in-law Bethany, brother's partner Claire, nieces Jane, Dasani, and Brooklyn, along with many adoptive nieces and nephews, God children, countless friends, and a community that will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother Jane Ann Kamara and father Abdul-Rahman Seuti Magba-Kamara. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she spread unconditionally.
A memorial service to celebrate Princess' life will take place on April 12th at 1pm at her church, Bethany Covenant located in Stillwater, Minnesota.
A memorial fund has been established as https://givesendgo.com/princesskamara
Princess Isabella Magba-Kamara will be remembered not just for her unique name but for the indelible mark she left on the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest eternally in peace.
