With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Priscilla Archuleta- Martinez of Aztec N.M, a cherished mother, grandmother, and wife, on August 18th, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Priscilla was born on May 5th, 1946, in Los Ojos, New Mexico to Manuel and Isidora Archuleta. Priscilla married the love of her life Ross Martinez, June 27th, 1964. Together they raised two sons Ross Jr. and Ricky, and two daughters Deanne and Raven in Durango Colorado.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Isidora Archuleta, her son Ricky Martinez, brother Manuel Jr, sister Betty and numerous nieces and nephews.
Priscilla is survived by her Loving husband Ross Martinez Sr, her son Ross Jr. and daughters Deanne and Raven, Grandchildren Sami (Veronica) Martinez, Heather (Michael) Lazio, Chance, and Erick Howlett. Special sister Lorraine Montoya, Dorthy (Manuel) Lemos, Linda Middleton, Teresa and Juanita Archuleta, Brothers Sammy (Wendy) Archuleta, Frank (Teri) Archuleta, and Lawrence Archuleta, she is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will forever carry her memory within their hearts.
Many will remember her warm welcoming smile as she greeted customers at the Walmart in Durango, CO where she worked for 21 years.
Priscilla was the heart of her family, known for her boundless love, unwavering support, and gentle wisdom. She dedicated her life to nurturing her children and grandchildren, creating a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone around her, and her absence leaves a deep void.
Ross and the family would love to invite everyone that knew Priscilla to her Memorial service on May 24th, 2025 at 10:00 am. It will be at San Jose Church in Los Ojos, NM.
