Priscilla G. Cornetta

Priscilla Gail (Warme) Cornetta, 85, of Whitman, MA passed away peacefully on December 8th.
She was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Nevens) and Arnold Warme. Born on April 3, 1939, she was raised in West Bridgewater and graduated from West Bridgewater High School. Pat worked as a hairdresser on Long Island, Cape Cod and locally for many years followed by a secretary at Eastern Adjustment Company in Brockton. She married her husband of 51 years in 1973 and became a loving, caring mother of six children who she raised in Whitman.
Pat was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Brockton. She was exceptionally skilled at crafting including sewing, knitting, and making beautiful Christmas stockings for her family that they will cherish forever. She loved Bingo, her morning scratch tickets, playing cards and puzzles.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard L. Cornetta of Whitman and her 6 children, Deanne Cornetta of Ohio, Janice DiCenso and her husband Paul of Bridgewater, Joanne Cornetta and Scott Hancock of Maynard, Nancy Geraghty and her husband Todd of Bridgewater, Paula Collins and her husband Greg of Hanson and Joe Cornetta and his wife Amy (Cox) Cornetta of Hanson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and a great grandson; Shannon and Sean McCarthy, Shannon's son Sean Partee, Joey, Maggie and Katie DiCenso, Nicole Geraghty, Sam, Amy, Nolan and Peyton Collins and Noelle, Anthony, Ben, and Drew Cornetta. She is also survived by her sister Norma Theriault, brothers Walter (Brad) and Arnold (Skip) Warme and predeceased by her sister Nancy Peterson.
Her many friends and family will miss her dearly but are grateful for being a part of her life.
Family and friends are invited to Priscilla's visiting hours on Tuesday December 17th from 2:30-5:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
