Priscilla Ann Douglas was born to Mr. Thomas Douglas and Mrs. Ella Mae Tould Douglas in Jacksonville, Florida on July 24, 1956. Priscilla was educated in the Duval County Public School system. She was one of thirteen children, so she always enjoyed lots of playmates, best friends and adventure while growing up.
Priscilla was a dedicated, devoted hard worker who kept a job; she passed these beliefs and convictions on to her children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite past times were listening to music, using her vast array of shoes and clothes to dress up and spending time with her family because family meant everything to her.
Priscilla did not tolerate drama or negativity. She was a quiet, positive peacekeeper. Whenever she was told of life challenges or asked her opinion, her advice would be 'pray about it." She has been described as a beacon of love and strength with boundless love and affection for her children and grandchildren.
Priscilla met and grew to love Everett Britt "Brent" Jenkins and they were united in matrimony in 1984.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Douglas and Ella Mae Tould Douglas; eldest son, Everett "Big E" Douglas H; siblings, Sandra Douglas, Sheryl Sykes and her twin, Patricia Douglas. Those who will forever cherish precious memories include: children, Velecia Douglas, Sabrina Douglas, Antwon (Sheena) Jenkins, Kamillar Jenkins; grandchildren, Terrance (Jamesha) Douglas, Brandon Baker, Antonio Baker, Denise Thornton, Timothy Scott, Terrance Phillips, Kara Gibson, Auja Mills, Ariyon Eagle, Everett Douglas, Jr., Semia Jenkins, Antwon Jenkins, Jamarion Robinson, Tenara Jenkins, Tae'Jahwon Jenkins, K'neshia Bush, Natavion Bridges, Nathan Bridges, Krisshawna and Camyiah; 26 great grandchildren; brothers: Donald Fleming and Eugene Respess; sisters: Deborah Caul, Phyllis Douglas, Regina Perry, Janice Douglas, Belinda Douglas, Kimberly and Anita McDonald; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
