Priscilla Jane Ogg

Priscilla Jane Ogg, 85, of San Marcos, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Austin. Born March 18, 1940 in Newport, Rhode Island, and a Texas resident for 80 years, she was the daughter of the late Charles Francis Puffer and Pansy Harriet "Polly" Baker Puffer.

Priscilla was a life-long Christian, strong in faith, and presently a member of Grace Lutheran Church in San Marcos Texas. She loved travel and visited extensively in the U.S. as well as many foreign countries. She loved playing Mah Jong, but the high point of her days was being with Larry and communicating and visiting with her daughters and grandson. One of the high points of her life was a 2-year residency in Germany with her husband, while in service to LCMS World Mission as called Missionaries.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry T. Ogg; daughters Priscilla Hinton & husband Vance; Andrea Ogg & husband Derek Johnson; grandson Nicholas Hinton; siblings Nancy Timmer; John Puffer & wife Wanda; brother-in-law Jim Ogg & wife Paula; plus numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Crist; brothers Charles and Bill Puffer, and mother & father-in-law W. J. and Annie M. Ogg.

A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2026, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1250 Belvin, San Marcos, Texas at 11:00 AM with a reception following. The service will be live streamed through the church's website at https://www.gracesanmarcos.com/
