Priscilla "June" Pitchie

Priscilla June (Brooks) Pitchie, age 92, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.
June was born October 21, 1930, to Charles and Lois Brooks in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Richard G. Pitchie on August 7, 1953.
June attended Senath, MO schools and earned her Registered Nurse pin from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse, teacher of health sciences and real estate agent throughout the years. June was known for her love of travel, music, theatre and especially bridge. She was not a card shark but was (very) pleased to have the occasional high score. June was a devout Christian. She was able to read her bible and daily devotions until the final days.
June is survived by a son, Richard Brooks; daughter, Camille Elisabeth; grandson, Adam Neal Pitchie; sister, Carol; and nephews, Steve and Tim Davis.
June is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 07, 2023, at 2:00pm at Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. Pastor Steve Patterson will be officiating.
