Obituary for Purl George Pence
He was born March 21, 1933, in Maryville, Missouri. The youngest of three children born to Charles Enos and Lela Hazel Pence. George was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; mother and father; brothers, Floyd and Charles Pence; and son, Michael Alan Pence. He is survived by his daughters, Sharron Saidi of Escondido, CA, Patricia Malicott of Great Falls, Katy Shields, Carol Pence, Kim Wittgraf, and Arvell Lancaster all of Bakersfield, CA; son, Paul George Pence of Moorpark, CA; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Obituary for Myrtle Martha Contway Pence
She was born September 13, 1931, in Malta, Montana. The oldest of nine children born to Patrick and Rose Contway. Myrtle was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Patricia Burkhardt; brothers, Jay, Tommy, Marshal, and Douglas Contway; and sons, Jack D. Myers and Michael Gary Myers. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Malicott of Great Falls and Sharron Saidi of Escondido, CA; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
There will be a combined graveside service at Manchester Cemetery on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Condolences for the family may be shared online at www.OConnorFuneralHome.com.
