Quat Nguy n, age 68, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on September 07, 1956, to his parents H p Nguy n and Tín Th ào in Saigon, Vietnam. He lived a life filled with music, laughter, and discovering new experiences.
He married the love of his life of 20 years, Tu Th Khue Tran the year of 1995 in Ottawa, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Tu Th Khue Tran; his mother and father, H p Nguy n and Tín Th ào; and his four sisters, Hông Th Tuy t, K Th Thuy, Thang Nguy n.
Quat is survived by his two loving daughters, Jane and Julie Nguy n; his four brothers, Tuan, n, Cu ng, Khoa Nguy n; his two sisters, Ng ’ Th and Thanh Th Nguy n; his pets, Yuuki and Java; and countless friends.
Quat found solace and happiness in playing the guitar and piano, often filling the room with karaoke melodies. Whether strumming a familiar tune or singing with friends, music was not just a hobby, but a lifelong passion.
Beyond music, Quat was adventurous when it came to food, always eager to try new restaurants and dishes. Whether it was a hole in the wall café or a fine dining experience. He believed that every meal was a great way to create memories. His enthusiasm for food and company was contagious, he never hesitated to invite someone along for the journey.
Above all, Quat will be remembered for his warm, lively spirit. The laughter, love, and music he shared will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
A service will be held on Friday February 21, 2025, at 4:00 pm, located at Daniels Family Funeral Services- Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Abq NM 87110. Please join the family to honor Quat Nguy n in sharing a meal catered by his favorite café, Coda Bakery, as we celebrate his love for food and togetherness.
