Quintaisha Shebre Chavez

Quintaisha Shebre Chavez, 26, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born May 3, 1999 to proud parents, Rufus Highhawk and April Mae Chavez. Preceded in death by her father, Rufus Highhawk; grandparents, Abraham Curry, Margaret & Nelson Brito, Lena Johnson, Helen, Celia Rocha, Virginia Diaz, Rudy Brito, and Robert & Marie Chavez; Nino & Nina, Daniel Giron and Shelby Bowman; aunts, Pauline Brito, Sheila Johnson, Rita, Sally, Shelby, Noni Veronica and Tammy Estrada; uncles, Charles Johnson, Theodore Chavez, Felix Meastes, David Garcia, Buffy, Nelly and Jerry.

Quintaisha was a graduate of South High School and Pueblo Community College. She was a manager at McDonalds. She loved helping people and being around her family who she loved dearly.

Quintaisha is survived by her parents, April and Jonathan Garcia; stepmom, Crystal Highhawk; siblings, Angelo Garcia, Jeramiah Garcia, Quintin Highhawk, Nikki Highhawk, Saphire Martinez, Cyrus Highhawk, Joziah Highhawk, Mykayla Highhawk, Angelita Serrano, and Desean Highhawk; grandma, Tina Curry, Corina (Mac) Wolfe, Cheryl Garcia and Charlotte (Edward) Hancock; aunts, Charlene Franklin, Angel (LaShawn) Harris, Shaleena Brooks, Priscilla Brito, Angela Brito, Claudine & Claudette Garcia; uncles, Alan Romero, Rudy Brito, Mario Garcia, Uncle Buster and Gerald Johnson; close friends as sisters and brothers, Jazell, Zeb, Sean, Pacheco & Angelo; many cousins, other relatives and friends that were in her circle and became family.
