R. Jeanette Carver, age 89 of Georgetown, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Winchester on January 27, 1936, to the late Raymond and Elsie (Syler) Perry. Jeanette worked as a pharmacy technician until her retirement. An avid sports fan, she enjoyed cheering for the Tennessee Titans and Volunteers football teams, and the Lady Volunteers basketball team. She also enjoyed travelling, especially to Florida and on cruises. But most of all, Jeanette cherished the time spent with her beloved family. A great woman, with a beautiful smile and magnetic personality, she will be truly missed. Jeanette was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Joyce Tucker and Ira Robinson. Jeanette is survived by her loving son, Kenneth (Gloria) Carver; grandsons, Michael (Brittany) Carver and Joey (Jordan) Carver; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jeffery (Sandy) Perry; sisters, Kay (Bobby) Cowger and Connie (Jerry) Boston; niece, Paige Matthews; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Visitation will be from 11am-12:30 pm on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Winchester City Cemetery.
