Rachael Allison “Rae” Ban, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, nieces, and friend, age 38 years, of West Bend found peace on September 28, 2025, at her home due to complications of multiple sclerosis.
Rachael was born on June 29, 1987, in West Bend to Richard and Patricia Ban (Grotelueschen).
Rachael graduated from West Bend East High School. While she was in high school, she golfed and played softball for the West Bend East Suns. Rachael attended University of Wisconsin Washington County. She worked at Froedtert West Bend Hospital while attending UWWC. Later on, Rachael worked at Calibre Inc. in Saukville and Exacto Spring Corp in Grafton.
Rachael enjoyed creating diamond art paintings. She loved animals, and was a proud pet parent of her dog, Athena Mae and her cat, Greg.
Those Rachael leaves behind to cherish her memory include her parents, Richard and Patricia; siblings, Joshua (former – Mary) Ban and Amanda (Steve) Wellner; and nephews, Ian, Brody, Zach, Owen, and Calvin. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Rachael was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Ban (Moody) and John Kolasar; maternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Grotelueschen; uncle, Donald “Butch” Grotelueschen; canine companion, Athena Mae; and feline companion, Greg.
VISITATION: Rachael’s family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095.

The family would like to thank Rachael’s therapist, Melissa Rosenbaum, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Aurora Medical Group for their care and compassion.
