Rachael Marie Lynk 41, of Midland passed away unexpectedly January 5th from complications of pneumonia.
She was born in Midland to Theresa Ann Hepinstall (nee Denman) and the late Stephan C. Lynk.
She attended Midland schools and went on to attend the University of Michigan Flint campus with studies in Psychology. Her four sons were the light of her world, and she loved them wholeheartedly. In fact, Rachael expressed her love to her entire family on a daily basis. She was always willing to help someone in need. Rachael was engaged to Jason Wallace of Midland, and they shared six years together. She remained especially close with two dear friends Mike Dice of Freeland and Donald Sturgill of Midland. Rachael was the light of her mother's world. Her sudden passing has left a huge heartache for those of us that knew and loved her. She never wanted to see anyone's feelings hurt, was quick to apologize and made sure we never parted in anger.
Rachael is survived by her mother Theresa Ann (Kirk) Hepinstall of Midland; her four sons, Jack and Joey Dice of Freeland and Max and Conor Sturgill of Midland; siblings Jason Lynk (Nikki) Mt. Pleasant; Heather Moeggenberg of Shepherd; Miles Hepinstall of Greenville; grandmother Joyce Hepinstall of Midland; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life/Gathering will be held Saturday, January 11th 2025 at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home 1200 W Wheeler Street from 2-4 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Rachael's children. All of us at Ware Smith Woolever are honored the Lynk family has entrusted us with the care of their loved one.
